How long have you been a member of Bradford Barracudas?

8 years - Bradford Barracudas is where I started my dragon boating journey.

How did you get into dragon boating?

 I saw a post on a friend's (Liane - Chairperson) Facebook page and got in touch with her about coming for a taster session.

 

​What is your favourite seat in the boat?

2nd or 3rd bench not fussed on sides​

What is your personal paddling highlight?

​My first year at Nationals, it was such a great experience seeing all the other teams in action and getting involved. 

​

What are your ambitions for the club this year?

​To see the club grow further with more members and hopefully start a youth team.

​

What do you love about paddling?

​I love the teamwork and camaraderie in the boat, also the focus it gives me. It's very good for helping to clear my head.

What one piece of advice would you give to new paddlers?

Just get involved and ask if you need help.​

Working towards basic helm and coaching awards
